Ear aches are usually caused by exposure to noise, pressure changes, bacterial infection to the ear and common cold. In any of the causes, there are several remedies that have been found to be very helpful.
In case your earache is caused by a pressure difference, say when taking of or landing in a plane, chewing some gum will have a relief. However, if you have been exposed to noise over a long time, then you will need to relax your ear muscles by keeping them warm. You can achieve this by pouring about 2 drops of warm olive oil in to your ear or holding a warm cloth against the outside of the ear.
However, dilute hydrogen peroxide of about 3% concentration can be very effective as well. Another great remedy is a warm mixture of sesame oil with the ajwain weed, in the ratio of 3:1.

Learning bodybuilding from the broscience is like learning about sex from pornos. You might get the basic idea, but you’ll miss a lot, and get some strange ideas. Better to talk to someone who’s done it, and done it well.
