Almonds to reduce cholesterol levels

Almonds always had its own places in the pages of history and it is a very good nutritious food that plays a major role in lowering the cholesterol levels. The mono saturated constituents constitute almost 70 percent of the total constituents in almond. This reduces the cholesterol levels of a person.

The mono-saturated fatty acids, proteins etc present in almonds makes it an extremely good food t o fight against diabetes or any heart disease. It is highly recommended by the health experts that it is advisable to have almonds in winter season. This is because; intake of almonds can cause the body heat to rise.
