Breast Cancer NutritionThe phrase eating healthy assumes an altogether different meaning when used in the context of a woman diagnosed with breast cancer. Though doctors are yet to approve a particular diet plan as guaranteed to prevent breast cancer or help in recuperation from the same, the evidence that alcoholic drinks are a major cause of breast cancer at all ages is irrefutable.

Some of the most popular recommendations for breast cancer nutrition include consuming low or nonfat foods, eating more plant based protein, ensuring a daily intake of 8-10 glasses of water, shifting to herbal tea to limit the caffeine intake, decreasing food additives, including whole grains in the diet and staying clear of alcohol.

Though following a correct diet plan alone cannot cure cancer it can definitely help lower the risk of recurrence. Including soy, flaxseed and garlic in everyday diet is also thought to be a healthy food choice for women suffering from breast cancer.
