In any of the causes, there are several remedies that have been found to be very helpful.</p>
<p>In case your earache is caused by a pressure difference, say when taking of or landing in a plane, chewing some gum will have a relief. However, if you have been exposed to noise over a long time, then you will need to relax your ear muscles by keeping them warm. You can achieve this by pouring about 2 drops of warm olive oil in to your ear or holding a warm cloth against the outside of the ear.</p>
<p>However, dilute hydrogen peroxide of about 3% concentration can be very effective as well. Another great remedy is a warm mixture of sesame oil with the ajwain weed, in the ratio of 3:1.</p>
