Health, Fitness, Nutrition, CholesterolCholesterol is a fatty substance that is produced by the liver and is abundant in animal proteins. What makes Cholesterol dangerous for your health is that it is carried in the blood and gets deposited along the walls of arteries, thereby making the flow of blood difficult. The two type of cholesterol are hdl and ldl, the latter being the bad cholesterol.

Watching a diet that contains less animal fat would be necessary to contain the levels of bad cholesterol in the body. That is because the liver can easily produce more cholesterol than your body’s needs. Engaging in exercises will also be helpful in using up the produced cholesterol alongside increasing vegetables, fruit and protein from plants such as nuts.

It is necessary to get checked for the amount of cholesterol in your blood regularly to determine how much exercise you need to do, and the extent to which your diet needs to adjust.
