Having organic food is really beneficial? Before knowing the answer, we should understand the term ‘organic’. The term ‘organic’ refers specially that how something is produced and grown. The organic farmers abstain from using fertilizers or chemical pesticides and their crops are simply processed to uphold product integrity without using irradiation, artificial ingredients and preservatives. Dairy products and organic meat are obtained from animals that are fed organic grain only and are not given hormones, supplemental medications and antibiotics.

Having organic food is not only good for you, it is also good for environment and the good part is that it is not at all expensive. However, the shelf price of organic product may be little bit higher as farmers deal with the same cost of conventional production of food like transportation, harvesting storage. These organic foods are little expensive but indeed good for our body so eating organic food is healthier.
