Effect of sugar on athletes

The reason behind why sugar is recommended for athletes is that sugar constituents in your blood can sufficiently boost and provide you the required energy at the time when some other energy sources are tired to supply. It is not wise to employ this method right away in the competition since some might not get the desired result when it is most needed.
