The worst part about suffering from gout is that you are not allowed to have a long list of food items. Those suffering from gout are asked to follow a special diet, which maintains such strict observations. The most essential nutrition for Gout is fruits. Make sure you include lots of fruits in your daily diet. Cherries are among the most preferred gout nutrition food items. Also, you can consume fruits that have a high content of Vitamin C, such as lemon, orange, and grapefruit.
Red meat, shellfish, and organ meat are some of the food items that people with Gout should strictly avoid. Cauliflower, spinach, beans, and legumes must also not be included into the diet because they cause the uric acid levels to rise. Alcohol should be taken within strict limits. Sugars, salt, and oil should also be under strict control. Removal of all such foods may make your life quite difficult, but you can be assured of a gout free healthy life.
