How sportsmen can make use of fat?

Fat, undoubtedly is the biggest resource for energy production in the human body. Since a gram of fat can be equaled to nine calories, stored fat can be of great assistance for body builders, other sport disciplines like weight lifting, sprints etc.

But, it has to be understood that it takes some time to get the stored fat converted to useful energy forms. It can be approximately calculate that it will take about 6 hours or more to convert the fat into energy. Actions of the body in breaking down fat to deposit in muscles will take time but it’s worth the wait.
