Nutrition, Body BuildingFor body builders, nutrition is very crucial and the most important nutrient is protein. It helps to build muscles which are an asset for any body builder. The best source of protein is of course meat. However, eat more fish, eggs or chicken as they are low in fat.

Fat is the enemy, especially saturated fats. Unsaturated fats are good in covering the heart and lungs but they must be taken in moderate quantities.

Carbohydrates should be taken with much care. Complex carbohydrates will do you good and the best sources include whole grains such as rice and wheat.

The omega three fatty acids are found in fish and are known for energy provision and combating depression. Fresh fruits and vegetables can never be ignored. Choose fruits that have less sugar like carrots, broccoli and cauliflower which are also good sources of essential minerals and vitamins.
