Meditation helps people to look inwards into themselves. This helps people to bring a harmony between the body and mind. This will bring peace and relaxation to mind.

When, in the initial stages of meditation the chances for the mind to wander about are high, you can try to bring it back through concentrating on beautiful objects. Gradually, you will develop the ability to concentrate more and more. As this time period increases, you can notice the positive energy cultivating in your and the power emanating from within your body.

Practicing good thoughts is also equally important in meditation and so, the place and the time you choose for meditation has high relevance in bringing such thoughts to your mind.
