Cervical cancer is one of the most common cancers affecting the modern woman. It is therefore very important that should you be in danger of being affected or suffering from it, that you have a diet that will either keep it at bay or slow its progression in the uterus.
Protein is especially very important because a cervical cancer tends to weaken body muscles and retards growth of some vital organs. Proteins work against this and go a long way in preventing severe weight loss. The diet should be well sprinkled with all types of quality food and the patient should be encouraged to each as much as possible because the patient tends to lose appetite when affected by cancer.
The food should be tasty and appealing but in encouraging the patient to eat, one should not be pushy as nausea can induce vomiting and possible diarrhea.
