nutritionNutrition is not a new word for people. They have been hearing the word all over the world, through the TVs, internets, emails, and many more mediums. But some of us fail to understand what exactly the term means and what does it do. Sometimes they keep on wondering if they too need to implement some diet plans.

The answer to the last sentence above is yes. Everyone has to keep a diet plan handy. This is to ensure that they are eating and that they are eating the correct food at correct time. For people who cannot understand the need, the process of nutrition helps us provide our body with the elements essential for its well-being. And that we need to provide these elements on time.

We have our own times set in the body as we have been eating food since we were kids. The body gets accustomed to the timings that are not very easy to change. You must have noticed the weakness when you got to eat late or when you could not eat anything.

To start, first you need to know what all is required by a body of your age and in what quantities. For this, you may consult your physician or check on the net. You may then plan out your timetable for eating. If you fear gaining weight, eat less and have some light non-oily food or juice when you feel hungry but do not stay hungry as it reduces your ability to fight diseases.
