Resistance Band Workouts for Women

Men and women can benefit equally from resistance bands but the lure of operating with it is higher for women. The idea is simple. These are equipments which are less sturdily built than a weight lifting machine. This means that women can think of doing it without suffering any bulky muscle growth. (It would look freaky on a woman). The fact that resistance bands are not denied even during pregnancy is a great boost.
A warm-up is a great way to start the resistance band exercise. It can constitute basic stretching and moving. Next, one can look forward to the actual exercises. Chest press is one such exercise. You are being asked to hinge the band with a fixed object like wall or door and then stand against it. Use both your hands (in bent position) to extend the band upfront as much as possible. This will automatically cut the chest in fine tones of muscles.

Resistance band workouts are great for strength training. They offer a convenient alternative to free weights or machines and best of all you can do workouts at home or when traveling. The Chest press is one such exercise. Beginners should also look at doing the Squat presses, Bicep curls, Side Leg Lifts, and Tricep Kickbacks. If you find an exercise to be easy, you can always use a resistance band with more tension for added resistance.
