Have you ever thought why spinach is considered as a super food? Not only just because cartoon Popeye got strong after having it, it’s also because there are many numerous health benefits. Spinach being a nutritious food comes at the top of the super food lists.

There are many nutrients and vitamins which are available in spinach like vitamin A, vitamin K, magnesium, folate, iron, vitamin C, potassium, vitamin B2 (riboflavin), vitamin E, calcium ,folic acid, dietary fiber , lutein, carotenoids, protein, omega 3 fatty acids, vitamin B1(thiamin), phosphorus , vitamin B3(niacin) , zinc etc. if we describe, how all these vitamins and nutrients play a significant role, we shall start with folic acid ,magnesium, vitamin A,C and dietary fiber ,these are significant because they have the power to fight against colon cancers, breast cancer and lung cancer. The most excellent antioxidants are vitamin A and vitamin C. It prevents heart attacks by helping prevent the ability of cholesterol to stick to artery walls.
