The thinnest skin
by Nutrition Man ~ December 6th, 2008. Filed under: Skin Care.
If you know your skin well, or have read this fact somewhere that amongst exposed skin, it the area under your eyes, lips and the skin on your chest that suffers the most when it comes to exposure. This is not just UV rays that we’re talking about but smoking too causes these areas to suffer. It’s not for nothing that your lips turn dark when smoking or you seem to notice a darker shade around your eye. It’s the smoke and exposure caused by it that your skin is reacting to.
One option of course is to stop smoking. For non smokers, protect these areas by using adequate sunscreen and always a use a lip balm rather than biting of dry skin from your lips because even if that seem s a natural solution and your lips o look red after the dead skin peels off, it’s not the right thing to do.
