What a pre exercise meal should not have
by Nutrition Man ~ July 18th, 2008. Filed under: Health & Fitness, Nutritious Food. When it comes to impart nutritious food at the time of exercise, there are, in fact, some things you are not supposed to do. This is also as critical as a nutritious intake. Fatty food particles should be avoided in a pre exercise meal.
Fatty meals normally take some time to digest. For the digestion procedures to continue, you should have a sufficient flow of blood to the stomach. But for a fatty food particle to digest, more blood is required in the stomach and there will be an increased blood flow to the stomach. This will result in the cramping of stomach at the time of exercise.
